MEET RANDY SHARP

Pastor Randy Sharp hails from Marion County, Illinois, and graduated from Patoka High School in 1970. He earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Illinois in 1974 and spent 44 years with AT&T. In 1993, he became a certified lay speaker and has consistently served as a guest preacher at various pulpits across central Illinois since then. After attending licensing school in the summer of 2023, he was granted his official preaching license. Previously, he led congregations in Farmersville, Raymond, and Warrensburg United Methodist Church.
Randy offers decades of experience, a passion for ministry, and a strong dedication to supporting local churches. We look forward to him serving in Divernon and Pawnee, and we invite you to join us for worship services or any of our community events.
Randy is supported by several certified laypeople from the community, including Bev Matthews, Bill Pflug, Sherri Clarke, and Kris Shelton.
